So this past Thursday I took a trip to New York to do my Soho thing and support my main man as he coordinated a launch party for the new phone app, SoleSearch, which is beginning to pick up a lot of steam in major markets. The app was created to find the all the best sneaker retailers no matter where you are in the world. With such a fashion forward app it only makes since for the launch party to be held at one of the New York most fashion forward boutiques, Atrium. The event turned out great! The spirits arrived a little late but who really cared when there were new threads to shop for and admire. The overall vibe was high style and eclectic. It’s safe to say everyone in attendance was very umm….self-aware! All types of styles from sport coats and cordovan oxfords, leopard print neckties, limited edition Leborn James Nikes, to hiram pants and formal slippers. None of it came as a surprise to me and I appreciated it all. What else would you expect though with diverse sponsors like StuffFlyPeopleLike, Entree Clothing, Chiv Culture, Bleu Magazine and Android Homme. Although I didn’t win any of the free sneakers in the raffle I had a great time chopping it up with my buddies and meeting a few new folks who are into diverse style like myself. Check out some pic from the event below.
