Last Friday I dressed down for work and wore this little accessory on my belt loop. My coworker mentioned he liked it while another on followed up with “It is nice, I’m just glad you don’t have one of those designer ones” Pretty ironic that she said that and here’s why… I picked this up a few weeks ago at PedX. I’ve had InviAlign for quite a few months and before I got it I figured this would be a legit reason to go out and buy a trendy coin purses from some luxury designer to store my dental wear. I started pricing little pouches and convinced myself “oh well I can afford it if I don’t buy any shoes or sneakers this month”. Time went by and I didn’t buy any new shoes yet but as I was surfing the web I found this coin purse by PlayCloths. I’m already biased to PlayCloths because it was created by my favorite rap group and I’d much rather support them than some French C.E.O who has never spit a relatable rap verse or appeared in my city to do a hip-hop show. Besides this coin purse would be far less expensive. Low and behold those InvisAlign bills started rolling in monthly and I realized I was fool for even considering such an expensive, decreasingly functional accessory. 1st of all I wouldn’t really get my monies worth because I dress corporate casual 4-5 days a week and that would just be inappropriate with my savvy business attire. 2nd for the price of the luxury coin purse I could wait a while and buy designer shoes and get a lot more for the purchase. 3rd I’m not really that pressed for cool points and I’d rather rock with PlayCloths. By the time I was ready to purchase the PlayCloths coin purse it was sold out everywhere. Then I walk into PedX and they had this. No it’s doesn’t has the leather look of the other purse and doesn’t have the premium appeal but it’s just as functional since it’ll also store my iPhone. That makes this a lot more worthy of its moderate price. I don’t do street gear as often as I may want sometimes but when I do I’m pretty sure this will compliment the look.
