HA! Gotcha! Not in anyway was I about to post any high-end time piece recently name-dropped in a song just because it was name-dropped in a song. But what I will do is show you how to do this son!
Last year or maybe even 2 years ago, I can’t remember, I purchased the above watchband from J. Crew assuming it would fit some other watch I had a home. I was looking for something different to wear other than a sweaty leather or metal watch band in the Spring and Summer and this was perfect. It complemented my chinos and khaki suit I wear to the office very well. After the disappointment of finding out that I didn’t have a watch to fit the band the watchband sat in its case until about 3 weeks ago. I priced the Military Timex that J. Crew sold along with this and other bands. It wasn’t too expensive but not high on my list of things-to-buy.

A few months ago, low and behold F.E Castlebury from Unabashedly Prep begins to do these wardrobing posts on his incredible blog and shares the name of the Timex comparable in size to the Military Timex used with the watchband I purchased years ago. The Timex Easy-Rider was exactly what I needed to get my wristwear right for this Summer so I went out found one quickly. I’ve purchased 3 more watchbands to compliment a few other outfits or just to add little pop when I’m out in casual gear and I want to let folks know what time it is. (double en tantra maybe) You can pick up the watchbands at any J. Crew retail shop or online and the watch at Timex.
