This is a very rakish, very expensive look. Let’s start with the shoes. I discovered these earlier this week at Upscale Hype. Marc made the classic blucher silhouette with premium leather then turned the volume all the way up with a 18 karat gold insert for the heel of the shoe. These shoes make enough noise so you don’t have to do too much to put together a nice ensemble. To keep things sleek and easy go went with a slim, well tailored black suit. Christopher Bailey is one of my favorite designers. The colors he uses for Burberry are just bold enough for my style and the cut of his clothes compliment my body type so this slim cut suit is perfect for me. It’s a high quality fabric with a bit of sheen. (No shiny suit flow here) I’m ditching the usual white shirt and black tie for more modern, edgy look. Insert the HYPEBEAST favorite Versace for H&M collection. An all black outfit is one of the ONLY times I’ll wear or suggest a black dress shirt. The gold collar tips of course play off the shoes. Now that the main garments are in place I had to throw in a few complimentary accessories. The Cartier Love bracelet is a nice touch. It’s small, neat and elegant enough to blend in with the rest of the gold accents. It’s the kind of man-jewelry that doesn’t scream “LOOK AT NOW!” Every man needs a nice timepiece but I’m not a fan of the really big gaudy watches. They just don’t look well on me or anyone else who isn’t over 6 feet and weighs 185 plus. I’m not fan of diamond bezels or all that other stuff either, at the most a little precious metal will do so I chose this classic clean 14k gold vintage Rolex with the black leather band. It’s fancy but still masculine. It seals the deal and puts the finishing touch on this look of understated luxury.
