Today’s look is confident, laid back, easy outfit that I’d wear just kicking it through the city with the homies at a bar, lounge or quick trip to the mall. There are more than enough posts on this blog about my liking for white jeans. That hasn’t changed. This pair by Levi’s Made and Crafted has a really great slim, straight cut with a slight taper at the leg hole. A denim jacket should be a staple in a guys wardrobe. It doesn’t have to be fancy or high-end at all it just has to fit well. I have 2 myself and one is of course from Levi’s. It the go to brand for all things denim. Every once in a I need to sport a t-shirt. I prefer for it to be something different from what I see most people where so I dig and dig for brand with really cool design or design that I really connect with. I always thought these Hype Means Nothing tees were really unique and striking. Not to mention its an election year so I had to go with the shirt showing support for President Obama. Back in 2010 I dropped a small post on Kris Van Assche and I’ve continued to follow his collections. These suede high tops stood out to me from his S/S 12 line. I’ll be saving up and hopefully I can catch these when they go on sale. Although its been pretty warm this winter, warm enough for just a denim jacket in the daytime, it is still winter so I have to keep a scarf handy to protect my neck. (s/o Wu-Tang). Even though the Bape empire has been sold for less than the price of a luxury condo in downtown Baltimore, I’m still a fan and I still follow their releases. These Bape patches add a little flavor to the denim jacket, show some personality and play off the colors from the scarf of the same brand. Look 5 doesn’t need much else. I’d just throw this, grab my iPhone and hit the streets.
