     Hello!  My name is Jodi Lewis and I love teaching third grade.  Kids are my favorite people, so being a teacher suits me well.  My goal is not only to teach my students, but to also instill a love for learning in each child by showing them that learning can be fun.  

     I graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  During my years as a teacher, I have taught every grade including preschool, except first.  As a young teacher, I bounced all over the county but have landed happily at Davis Creek.  I have been here for 15 years and hope to be able to retire here.  The students, parents, and staff have become like family to me.  

    Even though many students think teachers just live at school and never leave, we really do go home.  When I am not at school, I hang out with my friends and family, cuddle with my dog, play banjo, hike, and teach Sunday School. I am very blessed to be a part of Davis Creek Elementary.
