The HMS Band program provides opportunities during school and after school for students to participate in a variety of activities. Students regularly meet 2 to 3 times a week during school to learn to play their instruments. After school activities include performing in 2 concerts per year, Jazz Band, All-County Band, All-Area Band and Solo & Ensemble Festival.

Concerts are usually scheduled in December and May and are held in our beautiful Auditorium. Jazz Band meets after school one day per week and performs in the Spring. Solo & Ensemble Festival is held in February. The All-County Band Festival is held in March. The All-Area Band performs during the Region III State Band Festival.
