Mrs. Rebecca Powers
Hello to all! My name is Rebecca Powers. I am a pre-k ECCAT, that’s fancy for aide, at Davis Creek Elementary. I have been a part of this staff for ten years but a part of the school for nineteen years. I have worked at many other schools in the county before I settled at The Creek. I love our students and families and am proud to be a Panther.
I graduated from Fairland High School in Ohio in 1992. I then graduated from Shawnee University in the field of Occupational Therapy. I worked for Marshall University and Healthsouth Rehabilitation for eleven years before I became a stay at home mom. I then entered the school system at the encouragement of a Davis Creek teacher, Cathy Hensley, and am still here. I am married and have two daughters who are both graduates of Davis Creek Elementary and 百花视频 Midland High School, and one dog, Percy. I am an active member of the school serving on the LSIC committee, PTA committee, and the new school design team. I love to invest in our school, our students, and our families.
When I am not at school, I keep very busy doing many things I enjoy. I am an active member of New Baptist Church, attendee to many of our current and former students’ extra curricular activities, and love to spend time with friends and family. I love being a part of Davis Creek and getting to love on the children in my care.
